Then you will head towards the modern area of Barcelona, where you will immerse yourself in the Catalan Modernism, exploring the amazing buildings designed by Gaudí, Casa Batlló, Casa Milá, and the impressive Basilica of the Sagrada Familia.

The remains of a Roman temple on its summit were identified with his palace. It starts from Via Madama Cristina 21, BikeSquare Torino electric bike rental point; head towards the Parco del Valentino and climb towards the Monte dei Cappuccini. From here, passing through the districts of Borgo Po and Madonna del Pilone, you go up to Pino Torinese, and then travel on the crest of the Collina to Superga.
Superga
To get to the 672 m altitude of the Basilica of Superga you pass through a beautiful road surrounded by trees between Pino Torinese and the basilica itself.
One you get there, you will find yourself in the large square of the basilica, where you won't know what to see first between the view of the city of Turin and the beauty of the building in front of you.
Particularly recommended is passing on the back of the building where you can find the monument to the Torino FC players, who disappeared in a plane crash near Superga on May 4, 1949.
After the visit, you can proceed with a long descent towards the city.

To return to the historic center you pass through the Porte Palatine, those that were once the true gates of the city.

Then we advance and proceed towards Piazza San Carlo, the living room of Turin, a place where we advise you to stop and admire it as one of the greatest examples of elegance and Savoy baroque.
Passing between two Baroque churches you enter the next CNL square with the male and female statues representing respectively the Po and the Dora, the main rivers of Turin. Continue along Via Roma in the direction of the monumental facade of the Porta Nuova station reaching the Sambuy gardens. From here, take the Via Nizza cycle path to Corso Marconi where the building that was the headquarters of FIAT is located (on the right in white tuff) and return to Via Madama Cristina reaching the rental point after a few blocks.

Massico cycle path The Massico Cycle Route is an itinerary that blends sport, nature, and culture into a single, engaging experience. Pedaling through centuries-old vineyards, countryside nestled in the shadow of Mount Massico, and glimpses of the sea, visitors enter the heart of the Ager Falernus, a region long suited to viticulture thanks to its volcanic soils and ideal microclimate. This is where the celebrated Falerno di Falciano del Massico wine is produced, a legendary nectar already praised by Roman authors. Along the route, visitors will encounter eight select wineries, authentic strongholds of winemaking culture where the Falerno tradition blends with contemporary techniques and a genuine rural welcome. The cycle path also leads to the Falciano Lake Nature Reserve , a biodiversity oasis home to numerous migratory bird species, offering scenery of great natural value. The route also approaches Monte Massico , a massif rich in forests, trails, and views that encompass the entire gulf, an ideal place for hiking and immersing yourself in Mediterranean nature. Along the route you will also encounter historic centers full of charm , with alleys, churches and rural architecture that bear witness to the long history of local communities, as well as archaeological areas that preserve traces of the ancient Ager Falernus and the civilizations that inhabited it.

BRACCIANO / ANGUILLARA
A spectacular stage all around Lake Bracciano, to discover its treasures scattered around the villages that overlook it, almost entirely on roads without traffic, bridleways and dirt paths but easy to follow. From Bracciano we exit northwards following the railway line along dirt roads or dirt roads, in the thick of the woods that hide the panorama of the lake and then make it appear suddenly from time to time: we thus arrive in Manziana, a beautiful village near the centuries-old forest of the same name, and then via a bridleway in the countryside to the Antica Monterano, ghost town that knew various eras, each of which has left a mark of its passage: from the Etruscan tombs to the Roman walls, passing through the papal aqueduct and a couple of sculptures by Bernini and the evocative ruins of the seventeenth-century Church of San Bonaventura, which remained so since the town was abandoned following the Napoleonic invasion. Still passing through dirt roads and dirt roads we arrive in Oriolo Romano, another charming village on the northern side of the lake, and from here we take the cycle path of the woods, which crosses the chestnut groves of Calandrina and then descends to Trevignano Romano, right on the shores of Bracciano. To avoid the busy lakeside promenade up to Anguillara, we use a suggestive detour always traced on dirt roads, the cycle path of the lakes, which cuts the ridge between Lake Bracciano and that – smaller but equally fascinating – of Martignano.

Rome is the city with the most obelisks in the world. Obelisks of Egyptian origin arrived in Rome starting from the age of Augustus, when Egypt was under Roman control. In pharaonic times, obelisks were considered solar symbols, placed in front of temple entrances and enriched with commemorative inscriptions. For the Romans, the gigantic basalt stelae acquired symbolic significance as war booty and testimony to imperial power. Roman-made obelisks imitating Egyptian ones, on the other hand, were created during the Domitianic period.
Subject to collapses and burial, they were discovered during excavations and erected at strategic points in the city to highlight the new urban layout.
We propose an itinerary to discover Rome's most significant obelisks starting from the Pincio, whose obelisk measures 9.247 meters; with its base and star, it exceeds 17 meters. Created by Emperor Hadrian, it was found near the Basilica of Santa Croce in Gerusalemme, close to the Aurelian Walls; hence the name Aurelian Obelisk. In 1822, Pope Pius VII had it placed in the Pincio gardens.
After a short walk along Viale Trinità dei Monti, we arrive at the Sallustian Obelisk: it measures 13.91 meters and, with its base, reaches 30.45 meters. It was created during the imperial period; the stonemasons who executed the hieroglyphs, copying them from Egyptian originals, inverted some signs.
The third stop on our tour is Piazza del Popolo. In the center rises the Flaminian Obelisk, an original Egyptian stele 24 meters high. Created in the 13th century BC, the work was transported to Rome by Augustus in 10 BC. Its original location was in the Circus Maximus; moving it to Piazza del Popolo, the place from which the three streets of the Trident branch out, was a decision by Pope Sixtus V.
The next destination, Piazza di Monte Citorio, we take Via di Ripetta to reach, after admiring the Ara Pacis, the Campus Obelisk, in front of Parliament. An Egyptian original, over 21 meters high, it arrived in Rome during the Augustan age. Initially it was placed in the Campus Martius, where it served as a gnomon for an enormous sundial of which a fragment is still visible in the foundations of San Lorenzo in Lucina. The obelisk collapsed due to a fire; Pius VI had it re-erected in its current location in 1792.
A few hundred meters and we find ourselves in Piazza della Rotonda, in front of the Pantheon, where we can admire the Macutean Obelisk, an Egyptian obelisk 6.34 meters high that reaches 14.52 meters with its base and cross. Emperor Domitian had it transported to Rome to decorate the temple dedicated to Isis and Serapis in the Campus Martius where it was found in 1373. In 1711, Pope Clement XI had it placed in its current position, on Giacomo della Porta's fountain.
Behind the Pantheon, in Piazza della Minerva, stands the smallest Egyptian obelisk in the city, the Minervan Obelisk. Just 5.47 meters high, with its base, small elephant and cross it exceeds 12 meters. Dating back to the 6th century BC, in 1667, the obelisk was erected in front of the church of Santa Maria sopra Minerva, near whose convent it had been found, by order of Pope Alexander VII. Gian Lorenzo Bernini took care of the installation, placing the stele on the small elephant and base that he designed.
In the center of Piazza Navona stands the Agonal Obelisk. Dating back to the time of Emperor Domitian, it is 16.53 meters high. Initially positioned in Albano, in 311, Maxentius wanted it for his villa on the Via Appia Antica. It was only in 1651, during the pontificate of Pope Innocent X, that Bernini placed it atop the Fountain of the Four Rivers.
In St. Peter's Square, we can admire the Vatican Obelisk. Of Egyptian origin, it is 25.5 meters high and reaches 40 meters with its base and cross. It has no carved hieroglyphs and is the only obelisk that has always remained standing. Brought to Rome by Caligula in 37 BC to embellish Nero's Circus, it was located in the area of the current sacristy of the Basilica. In 1586, it was erected in the center of the square by Sixtus V.
The next destination is Santa Maria Maggiore. In front of the basilica's apse rises the Esquiline Obelisk. Of Roman origin, it is over 14 meters high; the base and cross bring it to 25.53 meters. It was created by order of Diocletian and placed, together with its twin the Quirinal Obelisk, at the entrance to the Mausoleum of Augustus. It was discovered in 1527 and, in 1587, Pope Sixtus V had it erected in its current location by Domenico Fontana.
Via Merulana separates us from the last stop: Piazza di San Giovanni in Laterano. The Lateran Obelisk, of Egyptian origin, is the tallest monolithic obelisk in the world: it rises 32.18 meters. Created in the 15th century BC, it is therefore also the oldest in Rome. It arrived in the city in 357 by order of Emperor Constantius II and was initially placed in the Circus Maximus, where the Flaminian Obelisk was already located. It remained buried until 1587, when it was found in three pieces. In 1588, it was positioned in Piazza San Giovanni, in front of the rear entrance of the Cathedral of Rome.

Splendid tour in ebike or trekking between the vineyards of the Monferrato, valorized by the presence of small boats that recall the similarities between our hills and the waves of the sea.
The first boat is located in Piazza IV November, from which you can see the imposing Castello Veggi, having mediaeval origin that is placed to the left of the Church of San Bartolomeo, which has been celebrated for just 500 years since the renovation, while on the right is the building of the Municipality.
From there you have to go down on Via Roma and you can find on the right a bike rest alongside the "Muretto dei Vini", made by the very good fountanilese painter Luigi Amerio, while taking to the left you go down to Via Fontana until you find on the right a rest area ; overcoming the peanuts, you come to a jumper, you turn to the left by immersing yourself in the green on a path leading to a vineyard, you go up to the right by finding itself after a few metres the first picnic area with the second boat : from here you can see the valley on the right while on the left we find the country of Fontanile with its imposing Church of St. John having a dome of a raging size.
From there it is set aside by climbing up the hill by arriving at the top of the hill, you are redeemed in the middle of the vineyard by carrying out on the right and you proceed to the bottom of the yarn, turn right by climbing up the hill and arriving at the top of the top, on the left. From here you proceed and proceed to the path to the third boat : at this point it is possible to scroll through a breathtaking panorama without almost seeing the hand of man.
As you go down the path, you get to the bottom of the road, you turn to the left and you continue in the middle of the vines starting to go down to the bottom of the hill, turning to the right back to the road and then continuing to the ponticello, here you turn left and go back to the hillside along the path to a crossroads to which you have to take to the right to arrive at the boat number 4 : from here you can see the country of Castelletto seen from above, the vineyard rich in vineyards, the country of Fontanile seen from another perspective, the country of Mombaruzzo in the distance and, with a bit of luck also the mountains innervate.
To be able to head to boat number 5, you need to get down the hill from the same side from where you have climbed and, who arrived at the bottom of the trail, you go back to the paved road by taking to the left and climbing down the hill by immersing yourself in the middle of the most complete nature until you arrive on a flat piece and you can take it to the left to climb along another side, and find on the right a vines and on the left of the herbs for bees, after a few metres you turn right and you proceed to the picnic area with the boat.
From there you go down in the middle of the vines, heading back down the road and you are continuing to rise in the direction of Brich Oddone. Before you arrive at Brich Oddone you will find yourself on the right the boat number 6. Continuing along the path, you turn left to the top and you continue down the road (council : looking around because there is a crazy view at 360 degrees) to the bottom, you turn to the left and go back to the bottom of the road, you turn left again and proceed to the crossroads where you need to take a left down the descent until you see on the right the boat number 7.
From there you fall back down by a fifty-meter-long distance, turning right back to the right path and moving forward to the end of the vineyard, then left to the right, then you go back to the right, you go all the way down to the right, you turn to the left until you find a small elbow curve to the right, you are still in front of a vineyard : at the bottom of the vineyard, you can get to the top of the hill and find boat number 8 : in addition to the breathtaking panorama, if you had to hear a whirl yelling, yelling not worrying, is his call of love.
From here you descend down the hill in the middle of the orchard, turn to the left and go back to the paved road : from here you proceed to the front of the Chiesetta, where you find a rest area ; you turn right to the bottom of the road, you will be left to the left, and you are at the entrance to the country, it goes back along Via Roma and it returns to the starting point (near the Annunziata Park is another bike / rest area).

Starting with e-bikes from the rental point in Falvaterra, you ride a stretch of road immersed in the silence of nature, crossing rivers, cultivated land and wild woods. After crossing the wood you enter the SP151 which leads to the Caves of Pastena, where you can leave your bikes and visit one of the largest speleological complexes in Italy: majestic and suggestive rooms (of the Blue Lake, of the Bats, of the Weeping Willow), stalactites , stalagmites and columns with bizarre shapes that make the visit to the caves an exciting experience.
What to see in Falvaterra
After visiting the Caves of Pastena, you head back to Falvaterra, followin dirt paths and panoramic roads: in the last stretch make the most of the power of the ebike that will allow you to climb from the valley to the village. E-bikes are a great help for easily climbing uphill roads. Once you arrive in the Falvaterra village you can explore the suggestive squares and alleys of the historic center (on foot or on your e-bike) pervaded by history, culture and local traditions and which offer various panoramic views of the Latin Valley; we suggest you to stop at La Bottega Coquinaria da Luca and Serena to taste typical products in the so-called Torrione (a small square that thanks to its panoramic position becomes a fantastic viewpoint terrace).
E-bike tour to the Caves of Falvaterra
After the stop on the bike, you will cover the last 4 km until returning to the rental point at the Caves of Falvaterra where you can visit the underground complex that connects to that of the Caves of Pastena: this complex is characterized by active areas rich in water with waterfalls, rapids , gorges and lakes and you will have the opportunity to discover it both with a classic tourist visit (thanks to an internal walkway) and with a speleological visit by walking and swimming directly inside the crystalline stream and crossing lakes and waterfalls.
